Meet the Members: Guerrilla

We caught up with the team at Guerrilla to learn more about their creative work, why they chose Alberts, and what keeps them inspired.

Q: For those who don’t know Guerrilla, what do you do?
A: We’re a creative agency specialising in brand experiences – figuring out how our clients’ brands “show up,” whether that’s on a billboard, or a screen. One of our earlier projects even showed up in a paddock out in Wānaka!

Q: How did Guerrilla come to life?
A: A mix of survival and curiosity. We wanted to test if our way of working could stand up in a tough industry, especially when creative budgets are often first to go. So far, it’s working.

Q: What’s the story behind your purple brand?
A: Purple signals future focus for us. It also combines “purpose” and “people,” the two things driving everything we do. Our “Purple Projects” even support causes making real impact.

Q: What drew you to Alberts over a traditional office?
A: The people. The Alberts team is warm and attentive, and there’s a real sense of community. We wanted a space that felt welcoming for our team and clients.

Q: What’s the biggest advantage of being here?
A: Flexibility. We have our own suite but also use the Club Lounge and other Alberts locations, which keeps our team mobile and avoids the same old workspace every day.

Q: What would you tell someone thinking of joining Alberts?
A: Do it. Alberts strikes the perfect balance – it feels elevated and professional but still relaxed and social. It’s more than just office space; it’s a place where interesting things are happening.

Q: Any standout perks?
A: Being at Formery, we love the Wellness Centre – quick workouts, sauna, ice showers. Plus, the hosted lunches and events are great for connecting over good kai.

Guerrilla’s story is a reminder of how creativity, community, and flexibility come together at Alberts to inspire bold new ways of working.
