“A space we’re proud to bring clients into.”
For specialist litigation firm Grimshaw & Co, the workplace is part of the client experience. The team has showcased its Formery work home on its website, giving clients a feel for the space before they arrive. We asked what made Formery worth sharing.

01
As a client-facing business, what were you looking for in a workplace – and why did Formery feel right?
We wanted an office that felt professional and welcoming, both for our clients and for our team. Being a client-facing business, the environment we work in really matters to us, and we wanted somewhere that felt like a great reflection of who we are.
Formery felt like the right fit. It has that professional feel we wanted, but it’s also warm, relaxed and has great energy. It gives us a space we’re proud to bring clients into, while still being somewhere our team genuinely enjoys coming to work.

02
What stood out about the Alberts experience compared with a traditional office?
The sense of community stood out straight away. It feels different from a traditional office because there are so many opportunities to connect with other people and businesses. The shared spaces, amenities and events make it more welcoming and social, rather than just somewhere you come to work.
03
What did you want the new workplace to communicate about the firm?
We wanted the new space to feel like a good reflection of who we are as a business – professional and modern, but also welcoming and approachable. It was important that our team enjoyed being here, but also that our clients felt comfortable as soon as they walked through the door.
“Professional and modern, but also welcoming and approachable.”

Club Lounge | Alberts Theatre
04
How does your team use the Club Lounge and shared spaces day to day?
The team love having access to the Club Lounge space. It’s great for meetings, catching up with each other, or just grabbing something to eat during the day. We also use the event spaces when we have larger meetings or need a bit of extra room. It’s nice to have a few options readily available.
05
You’ve used the Alberts Theatre for occasions like the Super Bowl – how do spaces like this add to the team experience?
The spaces give the team a chance to do things together outside of the usual workday. Whether it’s watching the Super Bowl, a movie or going along to a TED Talk, it creates an opportunity to bring people together and build a stronger team culture.

06
How has Formery influenced the way you bring people together and host clients?
It’s made it much easier. We have the flexibility to host clients, meetings and workshops in different spaces, depending on what we need. Everything feels professional but still relaxed, which makes it a comfortable environment for having conversations and building relationships.

07
What do you enjoy most about being part of the wider Alberts community?
The people are probably the biggest part of it. The Alberts team are very approachable and always happy to help, and there’s a genuine sense of connection here. You get to connect with other people and businesses, and there are often opportunities to have a conversation or share ideas that you probably wouldn’t have in a traditional office.
08
Why did you choose to feature Formery’s shared spaces on your new website?
We wanted our clients to get a feel for where we are based before they come in. Moving to Formery is a new chapter for the business, so it was important to us that our clients could recognise the space and feel familiar with it when they arrive.
