Te Waihorotiu CRL Station
Opening in 2026, this underground station will be New Zealand’s busiest, with dual entrances on Victoria and Wellesley Streets. It will offer trains every ~10 minutes across all major lines—West, East, South, and future North Shore—directly connecting Exchange to Britomart, Newmarket, Swanson, and beyond.
Wellesley Street Bus Interchange
Undergoing a major upgrade, this interchange offers frequent connections via numerous central city routes (e.g. 22R, 24B, 25L, CityLink), all stopping within a 2–3 minutes’ walk of Exchange. Streetscape enhancements include widened footpaths, greenery, and amenities.
